The Great Summer Adventure of 2013: Part 3

The third leg of our trip to Grandma and Grandpa's new house was thwarted by, well, a number of snafus. So we rejiggered our itinerary and went home by way of Chattanooga, where we always find fun things to do.

We checked out the cave at Raccoon Mountain, where we learned all about stalactites and stalagmites, and had an impossible time following the "don't touch" rule.

We panned for treasures and found some lovely jewels.

We played in this fountain by our hotel every time we walked by. Every. Single. Time. And promptly ran out of dry clothes.

We checked out the Aquarium. Fish? Check.

You might not expect butterflies at an aquarium, but they had a really cool exhibit where we got to hold them. (And, by some miracle, not kill a single one!)

Hello, Housekeeping? Have you seen my pants?

Our hotel was anxious to bid us farewell. I can't imagine why.
