Ho Ho Ho-lidays (The Entire Season)

Hold on, folks, cause this is going to be a looooong post. So sorry. We were so busy with all the fun holiday goings on that we couldn't possibly take a break for something as silly as downloading photos. We made a concerted effort to not run ourselves ragged this holiday season, and to focus only on our most favorite activities. Well. Turns out we have a LOT of favorite activities.

We decorated gingerbread houses. Avery made hers to look *exactly* like the picture on the box.

Mason, however, went freestyle.

We went downtown to watch a holiday music show.

We watched the old school Christmas specials. (With our bums in the air. Like we just don't care.)

We made paper snowflakes to decorate our windows.

We got dressed up to go visit Santa with our sweet friends Nora and Audrey.

All smiles on the big man's lap this year. No tears from these brave kiddos!

The girls went to see The Nutcracker.

We braved a cold snap to see the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Parade.

We checked out a lot of trees before we found the one that came home with us.

Ready to decorate!

Not surprisingly, Mason's idea of decorating did not involve pants.

Mason loved looking at the ornaments. This boat may have been his favorite.

We were mesmerized by the trains at the Charleston Place Hotel.
Christmas party hangover.

All dressed up for Christmas Eve church. (And too distracted by all those presents to look at the camera.)

Putting out the cookies and milk for Santa in our new Christmas jammies!

Daddy's annual reading of Twas The Night Before Christmas.

Listening to Grandpa read the Christmas story.

Do they look like they're ready to go to sleep?
Finally Christmas morning! Waiting for Daddy to go investigate for signs of Santa.

He came! He came! (Note that Mason is literally airborne here.)

Playing with our new fishing game. So fun!

Grandpa helping Avery attempt her first Rainbow Loom creation. It wasn't so successful, and Grandpa was promptly fired.

Watching the shrinky dinks shrink was pretty hilarious.

After Christmas we took Grandma and Grandpa to the Festival of Lights.

Mason was excited to ride the "fire dog."

The best part of the FoL is roasting s'mores. Duh.

Riding the train is pretty fun too.

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa here for Christmas! We spent the second half of our Christmas break wearing our jammies all day and doing our best to do a whole lot of nothing. And thankfully, there is no photographic evidence of that.
