Mason at Four Months

We are entering the magic period when Mason is starting to be more interactive and social but still stays where I put him (for the most part). Sometimes I wish babies came with a pause button. (And fast forward too, for that matter.) Here's what our little man is up to at four months.
  • Growth stats: He weighs 15 lbs, 6 oz (65th %ile); is 25 inches tall (55th %ile); and his head is 16 inches (15th %ile). Getting closer to average on all fronts. And he passed all his developmental "tests" with flying colors. Although he positively flirted his way through the visit with the doctor, so who knows.
  • He's cooing and razzing and giggling all the time. He thinks Mommy is just hilarious.
  • He's rolling from front to back at will, and *almost* can get back to front. He gets very angry at his arm that won't get out of the way.
  • He's now fully into grabbing things and putting everything is his mouth. This is turning Mommy back into a germophobe.

"How YOU doin?"
AKA the official 4-month chair portrait.

I thought this outfit was cute, but Mason has pooped on it every single time we have worn it. Literally. Every time. It's cursed.

"What? I didn't actually go anywhere; I was just thinking about it."

Guy Smiley.

"21...22... just getting in some crunches before breakfast."

"Hmm. What exactly am I supposed to do with this thing?"

Mason hears Avery singing all the time, so he has been working on some tunes of his own...
