Eight Months!

I can't believe Avery is already eight months old. It's just crazy. There's not much new since the seven-month update, but here's what she's up to now, and some random pics...

• She sits, bounces, rolls and wiggles, but she's not crawling yet.
  
• Sweet potatoes are her favorite food. Bananas and avocados are tied for a close second. She still hates peas. That's the only thing we've tried that she flat out refuses to eat. I even tried mixing peas with avocado, but she was on to me.
  
• She has mastered Cheerios and gets them into her mouth most of the time. When she drops one into her lap, no amount of hubbub distracts her until she has located the missing O. She inspects the bib, her shirt, her pants, and doesn't give up until she finds it.
  
• She's still rather obsessed with her feet, and pulls her socks off at every opportunity.
  
• She is an expert at bringing home germs from daycare. I think one of us was sick the entire month of January. She even managed to pick up her first case (albeit mild) of pink eye. Good times...
  
• She thinks it's hilarious when you put things on her head.
  
• She rides in the grocery cart like a big girl now and makes friends with people in every aisle.
