LeConte Lodge or Bust

Right after Mason's birthday, we drove up to Gatlinburg to meet up with all the Millers. We spent a few days there together exploring the Smokies, and then the kids hiked up Mount LeConte on the annual Miller/Blackmon trek. They made it up, spent the night in the lodge, then came back down the next day. What an adventure! Then they headed home with Aunt Liz and Uncle Mike for the week. So much fun crammed into one little week!

Crazy kiddos throwing rocks into the creek. A LOT of rocks.

Cousin love.

Hiking down to Buckberry Creek.

Aunt Liz love mob.

Taking a little ATV ride down to the creek.

Discussing world peace. Or farts. One of the two.

Showing that creek who's boss.

Fancy dinner with Granddad.

Dancing the night away to a little mountain music.

Waiting patiently for the fire to be ready for s'more roasting.
Left the luxury of the hotel...now they're ready to rough it on the trail.

Found the perfect walking sticks. NOW they're ready to go!

Still smiling!

They made it!!!
