Winter, Much Belated

Ack! Is it truly possible that I have not posted since Christmas? It seems strange to be looking at pictures from the winter when it is now roughly 120 degrees out, but here we go. Time to catch up. Here's what we were up to this past winter...

We did our first Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day. Brrrr!

What? Doesn't everyone eat their lunch like this?

We dressed up for tacky day at school.

What? Doesn't everyone eat their hotdogs like this?

Avery wrote her first forged note to her teacher. I'm so proud.

We built forts. (With no shirt on.)

Avery raised money for the American Heart Association by jumping rope and ALMOST made it into the finals.

What? Doesn't everyone read books like this?

We played horse. (With no shirt on. Why are we always missing clothes?)

I wish we could say this was our first facial wound, but indeed this was Mason's third time to be stitched up/glued back together. This one was particularly bad (he collided with a friend's dog and crashed into the corner of a wall) and involved a trip to the downtown ER and two layers of stitches. Yikes. His cousin Will told him chicks dig scars. So he proceeded to walk around telling people "Chickens dig scars!" This is his "tough" face.
