Spring Break 2014: Mountains or Bust!

It was an adjustment for us this year having to restrict our travel to align with the school calendar. So when spring break rolled around, we took the week off and headed to the Upstate mountains to explore.

We checked out Devil's Fork State Park this time, where we stayed in a cabin on beautiful Lake Jocassee.

We threw pebbles into the lake... until it got a little out of hand.

We did lots of hiking.

We harassed the local wildlife. (I'm not sure this poor snail survived.)

We found waterfalls...lots of them.

We enjoyed having Daddy around for a whole week.

We named Yellow Branch Falls our favorite hike.

Perhaps it was our favorite because we almost knocked Mommy into the falls and thought it was heeelarious.

We made some wishes.

We wiped ourselves out. Mark of a great trip.
