Happy Birthday, 'Merica!

We had a neighborhood parade and field day on the Fourth of July this year, which turned out to be super fun. Luckily the rain deluge waited until the afternoon, then cleared up in time for some fireworks. We had talked about how the Fourth of July is America's birthday, and all day long Mason asked: "Where is 'Merica? We need to sing to her!"

Marching in our first parade.

Water balloons!

Sack races with her bestie from school, who also lives in our neighborhood.

I will be so sad when they get too old for spontaneous hand holding.

Slushies with friends.

Mason was a BIG fan of the little poppers that Daddy got.

Daddy put on a little firework show in the backyard. Before dark. Cause that's just how we roll.

Sparkler dance!
