We channelled our inner Old MacDonald this week and went with some friends to visit a local farm. When I first told the kids where we were headed, Mason said: "We need to take peanuts to feed the elephants!" Clearly we have gotten our farm and zoo Lego sets mixed together. Well, we didn't get to see any elephants, but we learned all about growing vegetables and raising animals and took a hayride to see some of the residents. I don't know what they enjoyed more, the farm visit or the nice police officer we got to meet on the way home because Mommy was apparently driving a little too fast. Oops. That's a whole different post...
