Avery was definitely rocking the "baby mullet" when she was younger. It's not as obvious now that her hair is long and usually up in barrettes or ponytails, but it's definitely still there. Realizing that it wasn't going to go away on its own, off we went for her first haircut. She did great and loved getting her hair cut "just like Mommy." She also enjoyed charming the pants off everyone in the salon.
Her hair doesn't look dramatically different (had to keep it long enough for ponytails), but we cut a good few inches off the back and it's now closer to one length. And we don't miss that mullet at all.

First haircut! How exciting! I trust you kept a locket of her baby hair for posterity. This definitely qualifies as a "Grand Adventure of Avery". How can she possibly get any cuter?!?
