Miscellaneous Cuteness

Avery decided to put Mommy to sleep today, and as she covered me with the blanket and patted my back I asked her if she was going to sing me a song. She thought that was a pretty good idea, and sang to me: "winkle winkle, jacques jacques!" I think this is some combination of Twinkle Twinkle and Frere Jacques, both of which I sing to her. At any rate, it was pretty funny.

I have a hard time these days getting funny photos and especially videos of her, because as soon as the camera comes out she wants to "see Avery" and drops what she's doing to come around and look at the camera or video screen. Here are a few moments I have been able to capture over the past month...

She's very interested in shoes, her own and everyone else's. Here she is wearing Daddy's shoes.

...and insisting on wearing Daddy's shoes to dinner.

Climbing in the book basket.

Dinnertime striptease. Unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence.

She came out wearing Daddy's socks and Mommy's shoes, and said "going running!"

Here she is "cleaning up" Daddy's pudding.

Keeping tabs on the new house construction. This was during the phase when she had to wear her "beach hat" everywhere.

Showing Grandpa her favorite beach.

Finding shells with Grandma.

Bathtime Bubble Monster. (This was the face she made when I told her to smile. Yikes...)
