I Want It All

Avery learned a new word today while playing with piggy, horsey, and baby: all. As in...

Mommy: "It's time for your nap. Which one of your friends do you want to take to bed with you?"
Avery: "All."

(later)

Mommy: "There isn't room on the changing table for everyone. Which one of your friends would you like to hold while we change your diaper?"
Avery: "All."

So much for the strategy of giving her limited choices. Here she is reading to "all" her friends when she woke up from her (very crowded) nap. (And yes, one arm is out of her shirt. I need to do another post about her recent stripper tendencies.)

And here she is showing Mommy that there is indeed room for "all" her friends on the changing table. Silly Mommy.
All three friends came along with us to the grocery store also. At least I was successful in convincing her to leave them in the car while we shopped. A small victory for Mommy, but I'll take it.
