The Dreaded Ear Infection

(Cue ominous music here.) Avery developed a cold on Friday that got worse over the weekend, and by Monday we had one very tired little crankypants on our hands. I took her to see the doctor, and indeed she has the beginnings of an ear infection. So we've added twice daily antibiotics to the routine (oddly, it's the same pink stuff the cats get when they are sick) and are hoping for the best. We have to go back in a few weeks to make sure the infection is all gone. Apparently they don't mess around with ear infections in babies. In the meantime, it seems that both Chris and I have caught her bug. We only have a few days to recover, or it may be a very crabby Christmas at our house.
