Pumpkin Patch

We are the lamest parents ever -- Avery doesn't have a costume for her first Halloween. We will be in Florida celebrating Cousin Rachel's wedding, so there really will be no opportunity for Halloween activities. Avery does have a festive get-up though, courtesy of Aunt Monica. We got together with friends to celebrate Halloween a little early, and so the kiddos could show off their costumes. Avery likes to hang out with her boyfriends: Will, Dylan, and Henry. Maybe that's why she was practicing her hickeys.

We leave tomorrow morning for the long plane trip to Florida. This will be Avery's third cross-country journey, and we're hoping we continue to have good luck in that department. She is very excited to meet her other set of grandparents and all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. I'm sure we'll have fun pics from the wedding next week. Until then, Happy Halloween!
