The Great Spring Break Adventure, Part 2

On the way home, we stopped in Orlando to spend a few days at Disney. Because the kids are so young we didn't really know how it was going to go. But we were pleasantly surprised at how much they loved it. Neither one was scared of the characters, and they had a blast. My favorite moment occurred while we were riding It's a Small World. We got to the Middle Eastern section, and I said: "Look, Avery, there's a camel!" And she said: "Yeah, and a dentist!" and pointed to a lady wearing a burka. Gotta love the mind of a 3-year-old.

Impromptu fountain fun at Downtown Disney.

Mason was ready and waiting for the squirt.

Spinning in the teacups.

We happened upon Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and got our first autograph.

And of course we made sure to visit the princesses.

Princess handoff. She told Cinderella that she had worn this dress to dinner the night before but didn't get it dirty so she was wearing it again. This sparked a long conversation with Cindy and Belle about how they had also worn their same gowns the night before. Hilarious.

I have no idea what sort of story she was telling Sleeping Beauty.

We had lunch with Pooh and his friends.

Tigger declined to press charges after getting assaulted by Mason.

And poor Piglet got his nose beeped!

Day 2 we spent at the Animal Kingdom. Here Mason was spotting gorillas.

We rubbed elbows with Daisy at lunch.

And of course, the Mouse himself!

Digging for bones in the Boneyard.

Hundreds of dollars spent on park tickets, and her favorite thing was this random post on the ground at the bus stop.  Figures.

Naked. In a hotel room. Eating Fruit Loops. Now THAT is a good vacation.
