The Flower Girl Experiment, Take One

We headed to Nashville earlier this month for a long weekend full of festivities. Avery's Uncle Jeff was getting married to Diane, and they asked Avery to be a flower girl in the wedding. Avery was so excited to wear her "fancy dress" and her "shiny shoes" and be part of the big day. In addition to the wedding and all the related parties, Nana recently celebrated a big birthday, so there was a luncheon to celebrate her as well. The entire extended Miller family was in town for all the fun, so there was not a single dull moment the entire weekend. And to top it off, this was our first attempt at flying with both kids, so there was all that excitement as well. Suffice it to say that we had two pooped little poopers when we got home.

Reading a book to Bella and Jack.

Truck-eating competition, Mason v. Alexa. I think it was a draw.

Nana and her granddaughters (minus Hadley) and great-granddaughter.

Avery and Ronan take a break before plotting the next round of trouble.

Making sure Alexa was in on the plan.

Everyone reasonably happy (at least for a moment) under the Christmas tree.

The is the best of our attempt to get the littles in their Christmas jammies.

Cousin love.

And then there was wrestling...

On their best behavior at the rehearsal dinner.

Our own little wedding (photo) crasher.

Hanging with Meghan before the wedding.

Dancing with the bride and groom.

This is the only evidence of Mason's dapper wedding attire since he didn't sit still the entire day. We found this piano while exploring the church.

A rare moment with Mommy in FRONT of the camera!

All the Miller cousins, both straight up and once removed. Mason was clearly not feeling the love.
