Ho Ho Ho and a Bottle of...um, Beer

Merry Christmas, y'all! We survived Christmas Eve (I have a whole new respect for Santa's "assembly required" deliveries) and had a great Christmas. It was so much fun to resurrect many of our childhood traditions now that Avery is old enough to "get it." Now we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Steiners and Hobens for some New Year's fun.

"Hey, man, get your own."

Decorating Christmas tree cookies.

Waiting for Santa.

Reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Leaving cookies and milk for Santa!

"Hello, Santa? Thank you for my new kitchen!"

Mason checking out his new mirror.

Baking cupcakes in her kitchen.

With plenty of coaching from Avery, Mason finally figured out how to unwrap.

It's not Christmas without pistachios.

You can't really see it in this picture, but it SNOWED the day after Christmas.
She was trying to catch flakes on her tongue.

Had to have hot chocolate after playing outside in the "snow."
You can see she didn't like it much.
