Our White Christmas

We spent Christmas in Virginia with Grandma and Grandpa and all the extended Steiners. We arrived the day after the blizzard, and there was plenty of snow on the ground for our entire visit. True to her SoCal roots, Avery was not at all interested in the snow or all the cold-weather gear that went with it. Here are some pictures from our visit...

"Can we go back inside now?"

Avery was much more content to look at the "noooooow" from the
window with her friend Puck.

Showing off her crayon skills with Grandpa (aka "Ay-Sha").

Looking for deer with her cousins, Aidan and Brendan.

Reading with Brendan.

Opening presents...so exciting!

"So THAT'S how you play a no-trump hand!"

Lounging with Sasha.

After enough snow melted that she could see the ground, Avery got brave enough to go outside...and then didn't want to come back in.

Making a run for it.

The first couch pic of the grandkids.

Ahhh...back home in sunny San Diego!
