Avery loves to talk on the phone, unless of course there is an actual person on the other end. We called Grandma this morning to wish her a happy birthday, and this is how it went:
Mommy: Avery, do you want to talk to Grandma?
Avery: Yeah.
Mommy: (putting the phone to Avery's ear) Say hi to Grandma.
Avery: (listening intently...)
Grandma: Hi, Avery!
Avery: (listening intently and saying nothing)...
This is usually how it goes. On the other hand, when there's nobody on the other end, Avery chatters away. This was one recent phone call she made to who knows who.

I love this phone conversation. I wish I spoke her language. We are starving for some new pix & videos :-)
