Here we are at 14 months, and I feel like I should update some milestones for the sake of the record since I have all but abandoned her baby book.
- She is walking! We moved quickly from a few tentative steps to walking everywhere.
- She has six teeth -- four on the top and two on the bottom. She's getting another one on the top, which seems weird to me. Is she ever going to get any more on the bottom? She looks like a rabbit.
- She's past the fear of strangers phase and now waves hello and goodbye to everyone she meets.
- In addition to the signs for eat, more, milk, and all done, she is actually saying several words. The ones we have been able to recognize are Mama, Dada, cat, book, ball, that, hi, and bye bye.
- She makes a few animal sounds too: moo, woof woof, and neigh.
- She's learning body parts and can identify her tummy and her toes.
- I don't know how tall she is now, but she's weighing in at 22 pounds.
Here's a video of the recent walking:
And some pics from our trip to Grandma and Grandpa's earlier in the month:
Grandma's tupperware cabinet is even better than Mommy's!
Boozing it up. (Gotta start her young.)
Are there any crossword puzzles in here that Grandpa hasn't already finished?!
Had to get all the papers OUT so I can get IN.
I am the boss of the beach ball!
She still wasn't too crazy about swimming, but she enjoyed playing NEAR the pool.
